Terms of Service
The terms governing accounts, AI creation, credits, payments, and use of Imgent.
Last updated: 2026-08-02
1. Acceptance and Eligibility
By accessing or using Imgent, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be legally capable of entering a binding contract. If you use Imgent for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
2. Service Description
Imgent provides AI-assisted image generation, editing, project, and creative workflow tools. Model availability, output settings, processing time, and features may change as providers and the product evolve. We may add, replace, or remove models and features while seeking to preserve the value of purchased credits.
AI output is probabilistic. We do not guarantee that every result will be accurate, unique, error-free, suitable for a particular purpose, or free of similarities to third-party content.
3. Accounts and Security
You must provide accurate account information, keep credentials confidential, and promptly report suspected unauthorized use. You are responsible for activity under your account unless applicable law provides otherwise. You may not sell, share, lease, or transfer an account or payment entitlement without our written permission.
4. User Content and Generated Output
You retain any rights you already hold in prompts, reference files, and other content you submit. You grant Imgent a limited, worldwide license to host, copy, transmit, transform, and process that content only as reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and improve the requested service.
Subject to applicable law, provider terms, and third-party rights, we do not claim ownership of generated output solely because it was created using Imgent. You are responsible for reviewing output before publishing or commercial use, including checking trademarks, copyrights, publicity rights, factual claims, and industry-specific requirements.
5. Acceptable Use
You must not use Imgent to:
- Violate law, sanctions, export controls, or the rights of another person.
- Create or distribute unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, exploitative, or malicious content.
- Impersonate another person, misrepresent endorsement, or create deceptive identity or payment documents.
- Upload content you do not have the right to use or process.
- Probe, bypass, overload, reverse engineer, or interfere with service security, limits, billing, or infrastructure.
- Resell access, share API keys, automate abusive traffic, or evade credit charges without written permission.
We may block content, limit requests, or suspend an account when reasonably necessary to enforce these rules, protect users, comply with law, or respond to provider restrictions.
6. Credits, Quotes, and Delivery
Credits are prepaid units used to access eligible Imgent features. They are not cash, stored value, securities, or transferable currency.
- Each generation shows an estimated credit quote based on the model, quality, output size, count, and applicable inputs.
- Credits are reserved before generation and charged for successful output. Failed or unfinished output is automatically released or returned according to the recorded task result.
- One-time purchased credits remain valid without a scheduled expiration date while Imgent continues normal operation.
- Subscription credits expire on the date disclosed at purchase. Current monthly plans grant credits valid for 60 days from each grant, and current annual plans grant credits valid for 365 days. Unused subscription credits do not roll over beyond that disclosed date unless a plan expressly says otherwise, and each successful renewal grants a new allocation.
- Free, bonus, promotional, or replacement credits may have separate limits or validity disclosed when granted.
- Credits may not be transferred or exchanged outside the refund rights stated in our Refund Policy or required by law.
Paid credits are normally delivered to the account promptly after the payment provider confirms a successful transaction. Provider review, fraud screening, network delay, or account mismatch may delay delivery.
7. Pricing, Payments, and Taxes
Prices are displayed in the checkout currency before payment. You authorize the selected provider to charge the stated amount. A subscription renews automatically at its displayed monthly or annual interval until canceled. You may cancel future renewal from the billing area; cancellation normally takes effect after the already-paid billing period, and credits for that period retain their disclosed expiration date.
Depending on availability and region, payment may be processed by Stripe, PayPal, or Creem; Creem may act as merchant of record. The payment provider's terms also apply to the transaction.
You are responsible for accurate billing information and any taxes or bank charges not collected at checkout. We may change future prices or package contents, but a change does not retroactively reduce credits already delivered for a completed order.
8. Refunds
Refund eligibility, calculation, request procedure, timing, and exclusions are described in our Refund Policy, which forms part of these Terms. In summary:
- A request made within 7 calendar days of purchase may be eligible for the unused purchased portion of that order.
- Consumed credits and free, bonus, promotional, or replacement credits are not refundable.
- If Imgent permanently closes because of force majeure or another event beyond our reasonable control, a user may apply for a refund based on eligible unused purchased credits recorded in the account ledger.
- Refunds are normally returned through the original payment method and remain subject to applicable law and provider processing times.
9. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle account data, prompts, reference files, generated content, transaction records, cookies, and information shared with AI and payment providers.
10. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using Imgent at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach, fraud, chargeback abuse, unlawful activity, security risk, provider restriction, or failure to pay. Where reasonable and legally permitted, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.
Account closure does not erase outstanding payment obligations, disputes, or records we must retain by law. Refunds after termination remain governed by the Refund Policy and mandatory consumer rights.
11. Service Changes, Force Majeure, and Closure
We may maintain, modify, suspend, or discontinue part of the service. We will use reasonable efforts to provide notice of a planned material discontinuation.
We are not responsible for delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, government action, widespread network or cloud failure, upstream model-provider failure, labor disruption, or other force majeure events. If such an event results in permanent closure of Imgent, eligible unused purchased credits may be submitted for a proportional refund under the Refund Policy.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available." We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, and uninterrupted operation. Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Imgent and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunity arising from use of the service. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid to Imgent in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim, except where applicable law does not permit that limitation.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect product, provider, legal, or operational changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Continued use after an updated version takes effect constitutes acceptance where permitted by law.
15. Contact
For account, billing, legal, or service questions, use the support channel available on the Imgent website or in your account. Do not send passwords, full card details, or API keys in a support request.
