Privacy Policy

How Imgent collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information.

Last updated: 2026-08-02

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Imgent ("Imgent," "we," "us," or "our") handles personal information when you visit our website, create an account, purchase credits, use our AI image tools, or contact support. It also explains the choices and rights available to you.

2. Information We Collect

Depending on how you use Imgent, we may collect:

  1. Account and contact information — such as your name, email address, account identifier, authentication method, profile details, and language preferences.
  2. Creative content — prompts, reference images, masks, uploaded files, generation settings, generated images, project data, and related metadata you choose to submit.
  3. Usage and technical information — pages and features used, request timestamps, credit usage, model and output settings, browser and device type, IP address, approximate region, diagnostic logs, and security events.
  4. Transaction information — purchased package, amount, currency, order status, payment-provider transaction identifiers, refunds, and limited billing details returned by the payment provider.
  5. Support communications — messages, attachments, and account or order information you provide when requesting assistance.
  6. Cookies and similar technologies — essential session and security cookies, preference cookies, and analytics data where enabled.

We do not store full payment-card numbers, card security codes, or online-banking credentials on our servers.

3. How We Use Information

We use personal information to:

  • Create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and maintain sessions.
  • Receive prompts and reference files, route generation requests, deliver results, and maintain project history.
  • Calculate, reserve, deduct, return, and display credits.
  • Process orders, confirm payments, prevent fraud, handle refunds, and maintain accounting records.
  • Provide support and send operational, security, billing, and policy notices.
  • Monitor reliability, diagnose errors, measure product performance, and improve the service.
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and comply with legal obligations.

Where required by law, our legal bases include performing our contract with you, complying with legal obligations, protecting our legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, and obtaining consent for optional cookies or marketing.

4. AI Content and Model Providers

To provide image generation and editing, Imgent may send your prompt, selected settings, and reference files to an AI infrastructure or model provider selected for the request. Providers may include OpenAI, Google, fal.ai, Replicate, or other providers disclosed in the product interface or this policy.

We limit submitted information to what is reasonably needed to complete the request. Imgent does not use private prompts, private reference images, or private generated outputs to train its own foundation models unless we provide separate notice and obtain consent where required. External model providers process submitted content under their own terms, privacy notices, retention practices, and enterprise or API data controls.

Do not upload personal, confidential, or regulated information unless you have the right and a lawful basis to do so.

5. Payments

Depending on availability and your region, checkout may be provided by Stripe, PayPal, or Creem, as well as payment methods made available through those providers. Creem may act as the merchant of record for an order; Stripe or PayPal may act as payment processors or independent controllers for certain payment activities.

We may provide a payment provider with information needed to complete and protect a transaction, such as your email address, account or order identifier, package, amount, currency, billing country, IP address, device signals, and fraud-prevention data. The provider collects and processes payment credentials directly. Its handling of that information is governed by its own privacy policy and legal obligations.

We retain transaction and refund records for the period reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and legal compliance.

6. Cookies and Analytics

Essential cookies are used for sign-in, session continuity, security, language, and basic preferences. Where analytics or optional cookies are enabled, they help us understand aggregated product usage and diagnose performance. Where legally required, optional cookies are used only after consent and can be withdrawn through available browser or consent controls.

7. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:

  • Cloud hosting, database, storage, email, analytics, security, and customer-support providers.
  • AI model and infrastructure providers needed to perform a generation request.
  • Stripe, PayPal, Creem, banks, card networks, and fraud-prevention providers needed to process or review a transaction.
  • Professional advisers, auditors, insurers, or prospective transaction parties subject to appropriate confidentiality protections.
  • Courts, regulators, law enforcement, or other parties when required by law or necessary to protect users, the public, or our rights.

If Imgent is involved in a merger, financing, acquisition, restructuring, or asset transfer, information may be transferred subject to this policy and applicable law.

8. International Data Transfers

Our users and service providers may be located in different countries. When information is transferred internationally, we use contractual, organizational, and technical safeguards required by applicable law. Privacy protections and government-access rules may differ between jurisdictions.

9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above:

  • Account and project information is generally retained while your account is active and until deletion is requested, subject to backup, security, and legal requirements.
  • Creative content may remain in project history until you delete it or close your account. Copies held by model or infrastructure providers are subject to their retention controls.
  • Transaction, tax, refund, and dispute records may be retained for the legally required accounting or limitation period.
  • Security and diagnostic logs are retained for a limited period appropriate to fraud prevention, incident response, and service reliability.

We may retain de-identified or aggregated information that no longer reasonably identifies you.

10. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, access controls, credential protection, monitoring, and restricted access to production systems. No service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and notifying us promptly of suspected unauthorized access.

11. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, or object to certain processing of your personal information, withdraw consent, or complain to a data-protection authority. You may also opt out of non-essential marketing communications.

Submit a request through the support channel available in the service. We may need to verify your identity and retain information that we are legally required to keep. Closing an account does not automatically cancel a pending payment dispute or erase records required for tax, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.

12. Children

Imgent is not directed to children under 13, and paid services are intended for users who can legally enter a binding contract. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate authorization, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, provider, legal, or operational changes. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when a material change requires it.

14. Contact

For privacy questions or rights requests, use the support channel available on the Imgent website or in your account. Please do not include full card details, passwords, API keys, or other sensitive credentials in a support request.
